Eligible users gain access to 20 tokenized U.S. equities, ETFs and commodity products via near.com and NEAR Intents across more than 30 blockchains
NEAR has partnered with Ondo Finance to provide eligible users with direct access to tokenized versions of U.S. stocks, exchange-traded funds and commodity-linked products. The initial rollout covers 20 assets available through near.com accounts and the NEAR Intents network.
Users in supported jurisdictions can purchase the tokenized securities using crypto assets already held in their near.com accounts, including Bitcoin and USDC, without opening a separate traditional brokerage account. After purchase, holders may retain the tokens or convert them back into USDC or other supported digital assets.
The first group of products includes tokenized exposure to major U.S.-listed companies such as Tesla, Nvidia, Apple, Microsoft and Amazon. Equity index and commodity offerings are also part of the launch, among them the Invesco QQQ Trust that tracks the Nasdaq-100, the iShares Silver Trust and the iShares Gold Trust.
These assets allow participants to gain exposure to large technology stocks, a prominent equity benchmark and precious metals markets through a single crypto account interface.
NEAR Intents serves as the routing layer for the integration. Users specify a desired outcome, after which independent solvers compete to complete the transaction by identifying and executing paths across supported networks and assets. The system links more than 30 blockchains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, NEAR, Tron and BNB Chain.
Access extends beyond near.com itself. Wallets, decentralized finance protocols and applications connected to NEAR Intents can direct eligible users to Ondo Stocks, subject to each service’s own interface and compliance checks.
Ondo Finance reports that its tokenized securities platform already holds more than $1 billion in total value locked and has recorded over $26 billion in cumulative trading volume. The products were previously available on Ethereum, Solana and BNB Chain.
The NEAR integration adds a new distribution channel. In earlier expansions, Ondo connected multiple assets to other networks, including a June deployment that brought products linked to major stocks and ETFs onto Hyperliquid’s HyperEVM.
Although the underlying stocks and ETFs trade on U.S. exchanges, Ondo Stocks have not been registered under the Securities Act of 1933. The tokens may not be offered or sold in the United States or to U.S. persons unless an applicable exemption applies. Availability depends on each user’s location and compliance with the platform’s eligibility rules.
In certain other jurisdictions, including the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Singapore, users may need to qualify as professional clients or investors before access is granted.
Separately, Ondo’s U.S.-registered broker-dealer subsidiary, Oasis Pro Markets, has obtained relevant FINRA authorizations related to tokenized equities and funds. Oasis Pro Markets is registered with the SEC as a broker-dealer and alternative trading system, and the firm recently joined DTCC’s Fund/SERV network to connect with fund companies and wealth platforms.
The partnership places tokenized U.S. market exposure alongside existing crypto holdings for eligible non-U.S. users, expanding the reach of Ondo’s platform through NEAR’s cross-chain infrastructure.
