The crypto exchange now lets verified customers in approved regions buy and sell major U.S. equities and funds with USDC, expanding its multi-asset offerings
Bybit, the platform used by more than 80 million people worldwide, has introduced stocks trading, giving eligible global users direct access to more than 1,000 U.S.-listed stocks and exchange-traded funds. The service went live on October 12, 2026, and covers widely followed names such as Apple, NVIDIA, Tesla, Micron Technology and the Invesco QQQ ETF.
Eligible customers in permitted jurisdictions who have completed know-your-customer verification can purchase and sell the supported securities using USDC held in their Bybit accounts. The move integrates equity exposure into the same environment already used for digital assets, allowing users to manage both crypto and traditional positions from a single platform.
Unlike synthetic products or price derivatives, the new stocks feature provides economic interest in the underlying securities. Orders are routed through Bybit’s regulated brokerage infrastructure and executed by Alpaca, a U.S. self-clearing broker-dealer. Alpaca also holds the securities in custody.
The service itself is provided by Infra Capital Limited, an introducing broker regulated by the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius. Clearing, settlement and custody for U.S. securities are handled by Alpaca Securities LLC, a FINRA and SIPC member.
At introduction the offering includes more than 1,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs, with fractional shares available for eligible securities. Trading is commission-free on supported purchases and sales. Access is available around the clock five days a week, covering U.S. pre-market, regular and after-hours sessions, subject to product availability.
Corporate actions are supported. Cash dividends are converted from U.S. dollars into USDC and credited to the user’s Unified Trading Account. Stock dividends and stock splits are applied directly to the user’s holdings. Voting rights are scheduled for a later phase.
The stocks service sits alongside Bybit’s existing crypto spot and derivatives markets, its MT5 platform for traditional markets, tokenized equities and TradFi perpetuals. Company leadership described the addition as progress toward removing barriers between digital and conventional finance.
Availability remains limited to jurisdictions where the product is permitted. Users must meet KYC requirements, and some corporate actions may be restricted at launch. Access and ownership are governed by the platform’s terms and conditions, and capital is at risk.
