Chainlink Data Feeds and Data Streams are now available on Stellar, supplying market data for lending, collateral and other applications across the network’s tokenized asset base
Chainlink’s market data infrastructure has gone live on the Stellar network, providing developers with real-time pricing and data streams needed to build decentralized finance applications around more than $4 billion in tokenized real-world assets.
The services, which include Data Feeds and Data Streams, became available on October 14, 2026. They supply external market information that smart contracts require for functions such as determining collateral values, calculating loan-to-value ratios, triggering automated liquidations and setting stablecoin reference rates.
Stellar already supports a substantial volume of tokenized assets issued by regulated organizations. The addition of reliable oracle data is intended to move those assets beyond simple issuance and transfer into active use as collateral, tradable instruments and components of lending markets, prediction markets and perpetual futures.
Applications in the Stellar ecosystem are beginning to incorporate the data for collateral processing and related operations. The network’s design, which prioritizes low transaction fees and high throughput, is positioned to support these more complex financial products.
Supported price pairs available through the feeds include major assets such as bitcoin, ether, Chainlink’s own token, Stellar’s native asset, and several stablecoins against the U.S. dollar.
The launch follows Stellar’s participation in the Chainlink Scale program. Under the arrangement, the Stellar Development Foundation has made a capital commitment aimed at giving developers more cost-efficient access to the oracle services.
Data Streams deliver lower-latency information suited to high-frequency and derivatives-style applications, complementing the broader Data Feeds offering. Plans to integrate Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol remain separate and have not yet been completed.
As of early September 2026, Stellar reported more than $4 billion in real-world assets represented as tokens across dozens of products issued by regulated entities. One example is a tokenized fund from Franklin Templeton that held approximately $605 million on the network in early October.
The availability of standardized market data addresses a practical requirement for these assets to participate in onchain lending, borrowing and trading activity. Developers can access the feeds either off-chain through simulation or directly from smart contracts on the network.
The integration places Stellar among the blockchains offering Chainlink’s enterprise-grade data services, which have previously secured substantial volumes of onchain transaction value across decentralized finance.
