Oasis Pro Markets gains direct access to infrastructure handling over 85% of U.S. mutual fund transactions, streamlining distribution of tokenized products.
Ondo Finance has secured membership for its subsidiary Oasis Pro Markets in the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation’s Fund/SERV network, marking the first time a tokenization company has joined the platform. The move links Ondo’s regulated U.S. broker-dealer operations with core mutual fund processing systems used across the traditional investment industry.
Fund/SERV sits at the center of U.S. mutual fund activity. DTCC infrastructure processes more than 85% of domestic mutual fund transaction volume. Membership provides Oasis Pro with a single standardized connection to fund companies, wealth platforms, broker-dealers, advisers and other service providers already operating on the network.
Without Fund/SERV membership, Oasis Pro would typically need to build individual technical links for each distributor. The network consolidates key operational functions, including transaction confirmations, reconciliation, distributions, account record maintenance, tax reporting and regulatory reporting. This structure is expected to support wider distribution of Ondo’s tokenized investment products through firms that already rely on DTCC systems.
De Bode noted that one standardized connection enables Oasis Pro to reach multiple companies without constructing a new integration for each firm. The arrangement focuses on distribution and processing efficiency rather than altering the legal status or investor protections attached to the underlying products.
Oasis Pro Markets operates as an SEC-registered broker-dealer and alternative trading system. It is a member of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and the Securities Investor Protection Corporation. Its affiliated transfer-agent business is also registered with the SEC.
In July, the firm received FINRA authorizations covering tokenized corporate equities and fund products for both institutional and retail U.S. investors. Those permissions support over-the-counter retail transactions, underwritten primary offerings, private placements and secondary trading. Eligible instruments include National Market System equities and interests in exchange-traded funds, mutual funds and index funds. Transactions may settle in fiat currency or supported stablecoins, including transfers between blockchain wallets.
Omnibus account capabilities further allow Oasis Pro to interface with existing broker-dealer and advisory channels, potentially giving institutions, registered investment advisers and retirement accounts access to tokenized securities through familiar intermediaries. Regulatory registrations do not constitute approval or recommendation of any specific tokenized security, and investors remain subject to the risk of loss.
The Fund/SERV membership builds on earlier engagement with DTCC. In June, Ondo joined a DTCC tokenization working group that includes more than 50 financial institutions. That initiative focuses on operational and technical processes for tokenizing assets held at the Depository Trust Company while preserving ownership rights and investor protections.
Oasis Pro can issue Ethereum-based tokens backed by securities held with regulated custodians, creating a link between blockchain records and conventional custody arrangements. Earlier this year Ondo completed an onchain deployment involving exposure to BlackRock’s iShares Core S&P 500 ETF and Micron Technology shares, with the underlying assets remaining in regulated U.S. custody.
Ondo has also launched Ondo Network, an execution layer designed for tokenized financial markets. The system separates trade execution, validation and settlement functions while supporting tokenized assets and stablecoin-based payments. Outside the United States, Japan’s SBI Group has agreed to collaborate on tokenized Japanese stock products, with Ondo Global Markets issuing the instruments and the JPYSC stablecoin supporting settlement and collateral. Those products are not registered under the U.S. Securities Act and remain unavailable to U.S. persons absent registration or an applicable exemption.
The Fund/SERV connection primarily addresses distribution and back-office processing. It does not replace securities regulations, custody requirements or other investor protections applicable to products offered through Oasis Pro.
