Gate DexBuilder has introduced its Event Contracts Builder and a $3 million grant program to help teams build and scale event contract markets across multiple sectors
Gate, a global digital asset platform, announced that its DEX infrastructure arm, Gate DexBuilder, has launched its first Event Contracts Builder. The release comes with a $3 million grant program intended to support project teams, developers, communities and Web3 applications in creating and operating event contract markets.
The Event Contracts Builder aims to reduce the technical hurdles involved in developing market products. It supplies modular infrastructure covering market creation, trading, liquidity support, settlement and operational management. Teams can deploy branded event contract products without constructing trading systems, liquidity layers or settlement architecture from the ground up.
The platform is available to a wide range of participants. Eligible applicants include brokers and comprehensive trading platforms, crypto wallets, Web3 applications, media and information platforms, community content platforms, AI trading and AI agent systems, quantitative trading platforms, as well as sports, esports and entertainment products. Projects at any stage—from ideation and MVP to testing or live operations—may apply.
Integration options include API and SDK support. Core features provided by the builder encompass market data, order and position management, market settlement, risk controls, an operations dashboard and multi-terminal access. Partners may embed event contract functionality into existing products or launch independently operated, branded markets on Gate DexBuilder.
Event Contracts Builder focuses on multiple market scenarios. These include crypto assets, sports events, esports, macroeconomics, artificial intelligence and industry events. The goal is to allow teams to connect event contract markets with varied business ecosystems and broaden practical applications.
Selected projects can receive up to $3 million in funding and ecosystem resources. Support covers product development, technical integration, liquidity building, market launch and user growth. Additional benefits for outstanding participants include technical assistance, official showcases, community visibility, joint AMAs, media promotion and partnership opportunities within the broader ecosystem.
Gate has expanded activity in recent years across event contract markets, decentralized exchanges, artificial intelligence and real-world assets. The company continues to open product capabilities and ecosystem resources as part of efforts to offer a diversified, multi-asset digital services environment.
Founded in 2013, Gate serves more than 58 million users worldwide. It supports trading in over 4,900 digital assets and more than 12,500 stock assets, along with traditional financial instruments such as metals, stocks, indices, forex and commodities. The platform was among the earliest to implement full Proof of Reserves and maintains an ecosystem that includes Gate Wallet, Gate Ventures and Gate for AI Agent.
Gate DexBuilder plans to continue developing its event contract market infrastructure and collaborate with builders to identify additional application scenarios.
