An anonymous figure linked to prior GTA 6 footage has conditioned an alleged full-game dump on a meme coin reaching $30 million market value, while also pressing Take-Two for physical discs and an apology
An anonymous online identity known as CyberLeek stated on October 10 that a complete playable build of Grand Theft Auto VI, including the full single-player campaign through its ending and credits, would be released if the associated Solana-based meme coin CYBERLEEK reaches a $30 million market capitalization. The statement, titled “The Offer,” also presented an alternative path for publisher Take-Two Interactive to avert the claimed release by committing to physical disc distribution and issuing a public apology.
As of October 11 the token’s reported market capitalization stood near $2.87 million, well below the stated threshold. No independent verification has confirmed that CyberLeek controls a finished, playable version of the game.
CyberLeek’s message linked the prospective release directly to the market performance of CYBERLEEK. The account wrote that once the token hits the $30 million mark, “the build goes out.” The statement further indicated that the material would encompass the entire storyline. It remained unclear from the wording whether the promised material would consist of a downloadable executable or recorded footage of the campaign. The account offered to supply additional clips on request as purported proof of access.
In parallel, CyberLeek addressed Take-Two, proposing that the publisher could forestall any release by guaranteeing physical game discs and delivering a formal apology. Rockstar’s current physical edition of GTA 6 contains a download code rather than a disc, and neither Rockstar nor Take-Two has publicly altered that plan or accepted the demands.
CyberLeek first drew attention in mid-August by circulating short gameplay clips featuring protagonists Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. Some of those videos carried watermarks and promotional elements tied to the CYBERLEEK token. During that period the token’s market value reportedly climbed as high as approximately $23.4 million before declining sharply, reaching roughly $11 million by late August and about $3.2 million the next day. Reports from that time also noted that the account had collected around $250,000 in trading fees, though the figure has not been independently confirmed through on-chain records.
After several weeks of relative quiet, CyberLeek released roughly 25 minutes of additional material on October 8. The new clips included first-person driving sequences, vehicle activities, cutscenes and character interactions not previously shown in official trailers. Short clips, however, do not demonstrate possession of a complete campaign; development builds often contain only selected missions or testing assets.
Rockstar Games has described the unauthorized distribution of footage as a distressing experience for its development team. Take-Two Interactive has pursued legal avenues aimed at identifying those responsible, seeking subpoenas from companies including Microsoft, Discord, X and Google. Court filings in the Southern District of New York requested account records, device information and other identifying details linked to the CyberLeek name. The investigation has focused on the unauthorized spread of copyrighted material and has not produced a publicly confirmed identification of the operator.
Neither Rockstar nor Take-Two has authenticated the claim that CyberLeek holds a finished build of the game. The companies have also not responded publicly to the October 10 token-linked demand or the request for physical discs and an apology.
Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Rockstar announced the date in November 2025 after revising an earlier target. Official store listings allow pre-orders, with preloading set to begin November 12. The physical package continues to include a download code rather than a disc. No adjustment to the release date or distribution method has been announced in response to the latest claims.
Market capitalization figures for CYBERLEEK represent circulating supply multiplied by price and do not indicate the amount of capital that could be withdrawn by any single holder. No verified statement from Rockstar or Take-Two establishes any official connection between the token and the game.
