Margin Trading Pair Removals Scheduled

Binance has confirmed plans to remove eight trading pairs from its Cross Margin platform and three pairs from Isolated Margin. The changes take effect on August 21 at 06:00 UTC. The Cross Margin pairs scheduled for removal are AUCTION/USDC, BEAMX/USDC, CETUS/USDC, HUMA/USDC, LAYER/USDC, NXPC/USDC, UMA/USDC and VELODROME/USDC. The Isolated Margin pairs are HUMA/USDC, LAYER/USDC and NXPC/USDC.

Isolated margin borrowing for the three affected pairs will be suspended starting August 18 at 06:00 UTC. Users are already unable to move related assets into Isolated Margin accounts through manual transfers or Auto-Transfer Mode.

Position Closures and Settlement Process

At the scheduled time, Binance Margin will close open positions in the listed pairs, complete automatic settlement and cancel all related pending orders. The full process may require up to three hours. During this period, users will be unable to update their positions.

The exchange has advised traders to close relevant positions and transfer assets from Margin Accounts to Spot Accounts before August 21. Acting ahead of the suspension helps reduce the risk of potential losses while position changes remain restricted.

BNB Smart Chain Wallet Maintenance

Separately, Binance will carry out wallet maintenance for BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) on August 20 beginning at 06:00 UTC. Deposit and withdrawal services for the network will be suspended from 05:55 UTC to allow the work to proceed.

The maintenance is expected to last approximately one hour. Token trading on the BNB Smart Chain network will continue without interruption. Deposit and withdrawal functions are scheduled to resume once the maintenance concludes.

These operational updates form part of Binance’s ongoing platform adjustments. Users holding positions in the affected margin pairs or relying on BNB Smart Chain transfers are encouraged to review their accounts and complete any necessary actions in advance of the stated deadlines.
