Nasdaq-listed firm adds to holdings valued at $245 million while TRON network reaches 400 million accounts amid rising stablecoin activity
Tron Inc. shares advanced sharply after the company expanded its TRX holdings past 711.2 million tokens and the underlying TRON blockchain crossed a major adoption threshold. The Nasdaq-listed firm closed its latest session 7.49% higher at $2.01, extending its five-day gain to 26.42%.
The company disclosed the purchase of an additional 145,002 TRX at an average price of approximately $0.3448. At current levels, the full treasury stands at roughly $245 million. Tron Inc., which adopted its digital asset treasury approach in June 2025 after a reverse merger involving the former SRM Entertainment, has steadily built the position. By June 30, 2026, holdings already exceeded 709 million TRX and carried a reported cumulative gain of $15.8 million.
The accumulation program concentrates exclusively on TRX rather than broader crypto reserves. Management has framed the approach as tightly linked to the company’s business model within the TRON ecosystem. In parallel, Tron Inc. announced plans to seek election as one of the network’s 27 Super Representatives. Those elected entities validate transactions, produce blocks, and take part in governance. According to company disclosures, Super Representatives earned nearly 122 million TRX in block rewards during 2025.
The equity response has outpaced the token itself. TRX traded near $0.344 with a market capitalization of about $32.6 billion. The divergence indicates that investors are assigning value to the corporate treasury strategy and the potential for deeper network participation beyond the token’s spot performance.

The stock advance coincided with a significant network milestone. TRON surpassed 400 million total blockchain accounts. Data from TRONSCAN showed average daily active accounts of 4.64 million over the past month, with several August sessions exceeding 5 million. Much of the activity stems from stablecoin settlements, particularly USDT transfers, which form a core part of the network’s transaction volume and distinguish it from platforms more centered on speculative trading.
TRON founder Justin Sun noted the account milestone publicly and separately encouraged continued treasury expansion with a brief comment directed at the company’s buying activity. Network growth has been steady rather than abrupt, supported by high throughput and a growing role in digital dollar infrastructure, especially in markets where transaction costs remain a primary consideration.
Tron Inc.’s approach forms part of a wider pattern in which public companies place digital assets on their balance sheets. While Bitcoin pioneered the model, the firm has chosen to concentrate on TRX and to pursue operational roles inside the corresponding network. The strategy provides shareholders with exposure to the token through equity ownership while introducing the volatility and disclosure requirements that accompany large crypto holdings on a public balance sheet.
Investors continue to monitor the pace of additional purchases, any financing used to support further accumulation, and the translation of Super Representative status into recurring network-related revenue. For the moment, the combination of expanded reserves, equity gains, and the network’s account milestone has kept attention focused on the company’s dual progress in capital markets and on-chain activity.
