The Nasdaq-listed firm funded the entire purchase through its SATA preferred stock program, which has now surpassed $1 billion in notional value, while raising its amplification ratio to 53.5%
Strive Inc. has purchased an additional 469 bitcoin for approximately $36.6 million, bringing its total corporate treasury to exactly 25,000 BTC as of September 11, 2026. The acquisition, disclosed in a Form 8-K filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, marks another milestone in the company’s rapid expansion of its bitcoin reserves.
The coins were acquired between September 8 and September 11 at an average price of about $77,954 per bitcoin, including fees. Prior to the transaction, Strive held 24,531 BTC. The latest buy completes a sequence of recent purchases that have significantly expanded the firm’s position among publicly traded corporate bitcoin holders.
Strive financed the full $36.6 million outlay exclusively through sales of its Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Preferred Stock, known as SATA. No proceeds from common share issuance were used for this purchase. The preferred stock program has now exceeded $1 billion in notional outstanding value, with the latest issuance contributing to that threshold.
Chief Executive Matt Cole stated that 100 percent of the capital raised during the period came from SATA. The structure allows the company to raise funds for bitcoin acquisitions while limiting dilution of common shareholders who hold the Nasdaq-listed shares under the ticker ASST.
Cole also reported that the company’s amplification ratio had increased to 53.5%. Strive defines this metric as the ratio of notional preferred equity outstanding and debt relative to its bitcoin net asset value, providing a measure of bitcoin exposure available to common shareholders.
Alongside the 25,000 BTC, Strive reported approximately $204.2 million in cash as of September 11. The company also held 505,000 shares of Strategy’s STRC preferred stock, carrying a fair value of about $49.81 million on that date.
These assets form part of Strive’s broader balance sheet as it continues to accumulate bitcoin. The firm has expanded its treasury through a combination of direct market purchases and assets obtained via its earlier merger with Semler Scientific.
The 469 BTC purchase follows larger acquisitions earlier in the period. In late August, Strive bought 1,800 BTC. It subsequently added 1,375 BTC before completing the latest transaction that brought the total to 25,000 BTC. Across the most recent additions after reaching 23,156 BTC, the company expanded its holdings by 1,844 BTC.
At current market levels near $78,000, the 25,000 BTC treasury is valued at roughly $1.95 billion. Strive ranks as the fifth-largest publicly traded corporate bitcoin holder, behind Strategy, Twenty One, Metaplanet and MARA.
The company has indicated that reaching second place by year-end remains possible, though not its base-case expectation. Achieving that position would require substantial further weekly purchases assuming no additional accumulation by higher-ranked firms.
Strive’s common shares and preferred stock instruments have drawn market attention as the firm continues its bitcoin-focused strategy. Investors monitor the SEC filings for details on purchase volumes, average prices, funding sources and remaining cash and preferred stock positions.
