Apeing’s live token sale reaches new milestones with staged pricing, while Dogecoin faces an ETF closure and other meme assets maintain market presence
Meme cryptocurrencies continued to attract interest across trading communities as established projects and newer launches competed for attention. Apeing, an Ethereum-based ERC-20 token, reported progress in its ongoing presale, moving through Stage 3 under the name Paper Hand Panic. At the same time, Dogecoin drew headlines from an exchange-traded fund development, and tokens such as Peanut the Squirrel, Pepe, Fartcoin and others remained active in market discussions.
Apeing’s presale operates across a planned series of 33 stages with rising prices. Stage 3 currently prices the token at $0.0004, with 300 million tokens allocated to the phase. The subsequent stage is scheduled at $0.0005. Project figures indicate more than 425 million tokens sold overall, over $85,000 raised, and more than 290 holders recorded in recent updates. Earlier reports had noted figures above 410 million tokens sold and roughly $80,000 raised with holder counts in the 240 to 270 range.
The total supply stands at 16.75 billion tokens, with 40 percent allocated to the presale. Unsold tokens from individual stages are designated for burning. Ten percent of the supply is set aside for liquidity, locked for 18 months. The team allocation is one percent, locked for one year and subject to a six-month vesting schedule. The project states a planned listing price of $0.01. Calculations based on the current Stage 3 price and that listing level produce a multiple of 25 times, equivalent to a 2,400 percent difference before any fees or market conditions.
Apeing incorporates community features including Ape Wars competitions and a referral system. Purchases of $25 or more generate a personal referral code. Buyers can receive 10 percent additional tokens through referrals, while referrers may receive a matching 10 percent reward. The token follows the Ethereum ERC-20 standard, allowing compatibility with common wallets and applications.
Participation requires connection of a compatible Ethereum wallet such as MetaMask or Trust Wallet. Supported payment methods include certain cryptocurrencies as well as Visa and Mastercard. Card transactions still require an Ethereum wallet link because tokens remain associated with the connected address. Smart or passkey wallets are not supported according to project information.
Following the presale, the project outlines an initial launch on a decentralized exchange on Ethereum with prepared liquidity. Plans then call for pursuit of listings on three to five centralized exchanges. On-chain staking is scheduled to begin within weeks after trading starts.
Dogecoin traded near $0.083 to $0.084 in recent sessions. Bitwise announced the liquidation of its Dogecoin ETF, identified as BWOW. The fund is expected to conduct its final trading day on NYSE Arca on October 14, 2026. Remaining shareholders are scheduled to receive the net asset value in cash after the process concludes. The ETF had begun trading in November 2025, placing the planned closure less than one year after its launch.
The development added a traditional finance angle to discussions around one of the longest-standing meme cryptocurrencies. Dogecoin continues to operate on its own proof-of-work blockchain rather than as an Ethereum token.
Peanut the Squirrel, known as PNUT, traded near the equivalent of $0.05 according to recent conversion data. The token is available within Robinhood’s U.S. crypto offerings. Community discussion has included topics such as potential airdrop activity and platform availability.
Pepe remains a widely recognized Ethereum-based meme token built around a well-known internet character, maintaining substantial trading volume and exchange listings. Fartcoin continues to draw attention through its deliberately humorous branding and community activity. Additional names frequently referenced alongside these assets include Shiba Inu, which has developed a Layer 2 network called Shibarium and related applications; Bonk and dogwifhat, both tied closely to the Solana ecosystem; Floki, which has expanded into GameFi, DeFi and education initiatives; Official Trump, linked to political branding on Solana; CashCat, a newer project experimenting with liquidity and burn mechanics; MemeCore, focused on a Layer 1 approach supporting meme applications; and Baby Doge Coin, which has added decentralized exchange and launch platform features.
| Token | Notable Characteristic |
|---|---|
| Apeing | Live staged presale on Ethereum at $0.0004 in Stage 3 |
| Dogecoin | ETF liquidation scheduled for October 2026 |
| PNUT | Available on Robinhood, community-driven narrative |
| Pepe | Established Ethereum meme token with high visibility |
| Fartcoin | Internet-native humorous branding and active trading |
Apeing’s structure centers on staged price increases and limited allocations per phase. The combination of token burns for unsold portions, locked liquidity and team vesting forms the reported economic design. Community tools such as competitive events and referral rewards are presented as mechanisms intended to encourage participation during the presale period.
Across the broader meme sector, projects range from pure cultural branding to those developing additional technical layers, decentralized applications or infrastructure components. Apeing positions itself within the early-stage portion of this range through its active multi-stage sale rather than secondary market trading.
Market participants continue to monitor price movements, allocation progress and related announcements as the presale advances and established tokens respond to news events such as the Dogecoin ETF closure.
