Luxembourg platform secures institutional capital ahead of ALKN token listing on Bitfinex Securities to commercialise ultra-pure nickel assets
Alkemya Metacore SCSp has completed an initial USD 50 million pre-launch capital raise for its precision industrial nickel wire operations. The funding supports plans to convert high-purity nickel holdings into engineered mesh products for multiple industrial markets. Alkemya Luxembourg S.à.r.l., the sponsor, confirmed the close and the launch of a further tranche of ALKN tokens priced at USD 1.00 each.
The offer is arranged by Hanover Square Capital (UK) Ltd and will be conducted on Bitfinex Securities. It is open to institutional and professional investors and is scheduled to close on 15 October 2026. The tokens are issued by Alkemya Metacore SCSp, a Luxembourg special limited partnership registered as an issuer with the National Commission of Digital Assets in El Salvador.
Alkemya Metacore holds approximately 7 million metres of 99.99 percent ultra-pure nickel wire with a diameter of 0.025 mm. The inventory has been independently verified and valued at roughly USD 1.64 billion. The material remains in institutional custody in Lugano, Switzerland. The platform specialises in the industrial development, commercialisation and financial structuring of high-technology metals.
Proceeds from the initial raise and subsequent tranches will provide working capital to convert the wire into engineered mesh tailored for seven application areas: electromagnetic interference shielding, aerospace and defence, marine and desalination, power and industrials, semiconductors, green hydrogen, and rare and precious metals recovery.
The ALKN tokens combine exposure to the physical nickel asset with participation in the commercialisation of related technologies linked to energy transition and electronic security. Cash distributions follow a defined waterfall. Investor capital is returned in full first. Token holders then receive cumulative distributions equal to a 6 percent per annum compound preferred return calculated annually on outstanding capital. Remaining profits from the commercial business are shared 80/20 in favour of token holders with a carry partner.
Listing on Bitfinex Securities is intended to provide access to a regulated 24/7 secondary market and a broader base of global institutional investors. The tokens are also planned for trading on AGX, operated by LabyrinthX Technologies Pte Ltd within the Hydra X group, and on Archax Ltd. HydraX Digital Assets Pte. Ltd. serves as custodian and distribution partner in Asia, while Archax performs a comparable role in the United Kingdom. Scytale supplies onboarding technology for Luxembourg and EU compliance.
Legal counsel included CMS DeBacker for Luxembourg matters, Dentons El Salvador for El Salvador law, Foley and Lardner for United States aspects, and CNPLaw LLP for Singapore. Winston Taylor advised Bitfinex Securities. The Edison Group handled investor relations and prepared a pre-IPO research note.
Bitfinex Securities operates as a regulated venue for the issuance and trading of tokenised securities under licences in El Salvador and Kazakhstan. The offering is limited to institutional and professional investors. No retail investors under MiFID II definitions in the European Union or European Economic Area may participate. The tokens are not registered under the US Securities Act of 1933 and will be offered only in offshore transactions under Regulation S. The offering is also restricted to institutional investors in Singapore.
