BitMine Immersion Technologies added 7,430 ETH to its holdings last week, bringing its total to nearly 4.8% of Ethereum's supply, as the company simultaneously repurchased millions of its own shares under its authorized program
BitMine Immersion Technologies has continued its aggressive accumulation of Ethereum, purchasing an additional 7,430 ETH over the past week. This brings the company's total Ethereum holdings to 5,777,468 tokens, valued at approximately $10.8 billion based on recent pricing around $1,879 per ETH.
The latest addition maintains BitMine's position as the largest corporate holder of Ethereum. The company is now roughly 96% of the way toward its self-described "Alchemy of 5%" objective of controlling 5% of Ethereum's estimated 120.7 million token supply.
Chairman Tom Lee noted that the pace of Ethereum acquisitions slowed compared to prior weeks, attributing the change to the company's simultaneous capital allocation toward share repurchases. BitMine has acquired Ethereum on a weekly basis since initiating its ETH treasury strategy in late June 2025.
During the same period, BitMine repurchased approximately 5.5 million common shares at an average price of $15.6156 under its previously authorized $4 billion share repurchase program. The transactions totaled around $86 million.
Lee indicated that this deployment of capital reflects a balanced approach to enhancing shareholder value while sustaining the Ethereum accumulation effort. The company's shares have shown trading activity in recent sessions, with the buyback occurring at levels near recent market prices.
A substantial portion of BitMine's Ethereum holdings is actively generating returns through staking. The company has staked 4,917,189 ETH, representing about 85% of its treasury. At current yields, these staked assets are projected to produce approximately $247 million in annualized revenue, with potential to reach $290 million if the full position is deployed.
Staking and validation activities have become the core of BitMine's operating business. In the quarter ended May 31, these operations accounted for $45.7 million, or 98% of the company's total quarterly revenue.
Beyond its Ethereum holdings, BitMine maintains a diversified corporate treasury. The company holds 207 Bitcoin, $385 million in cash and marketable securities, a $180 million stake in Beast Industries, and a $58 million position in Eightco Holdings. The combined value of its crypto assets, cash, and other investments stands at $11.5 billion.
The firm operates its Made in America Validator Network (MAVAN) platform, which supports both its internal staking needs and potential institutional partnerships.
The updates come as Ethereum has shown relative strength compared to Bitcoin in recent trading periods. BitMine's strategy highlights a corporate focus on Ethereum as a long-term treasury asset, supported by its staking infrastructure and ongoing capital management decisions.
