The exchange will end all spot pairs for Epic Chain and QuickSwap after a periodic review, with futures and other services closing earlier; both tokens fell sharply after the announcement
Binance announced on October 14 that it will delist Epic Chain (EPIC) and QuickSwap (QUICK) from all spot trading pairs at 03:00 UTC on October 28. The decision follows the platform’s latest review of listed digital assets and triggered immediate price declines for both tokens.
According to market data, QUICK traded near $0.008169 after a 19.67 percent drop over 24 hours, reducing its market capitalization to roughly $5.37 million on daily volume of about $1.47 million. EPIC traded near $0.4001, down 10.54 percent over the same period, with a market capitalization of approximately $13.48 million and higher daily volume near $10 million. In the minutes after the notice appeared, QUICK fell about 10 percent from its pre-announcement level and remained lower, while EPIC initially declined near 9 percent before recovering some ground within the same short window.
The wind-down of related services starts well before the final spot trading cutoff. On October 15 at 03:00 UTC, Binance will stop supporting both tokens through its Buy & Sell Crypto service, and margin borrowing will be suspended. On October 20, several additional cutoffs take effect: Binance Pool and Binance Pay support ends at 03:00 UTC, outstanding VIP and Flexible Loan positions close at 07:00 UTC, new futures positions are blocked from 08:30 UTC, and remaining futures contracts are automatically settled and removed at 09:00 UTC. Margin services are fully removed at 10:00 UTC that day.
Spot Copy Trading ends on October 21 at 03:00 UTC, with any remaining holdings sold at market prices or transferred to spot accounts if unsellable. Simple Earn Flexible and Locked positions are automatically redeemed the same day, with principal and rewards moved to spot accounts. Low-value asset conversion support ceases on October 27 at 02:00 UTC, and Binance Convert removes the tokens on October 28 at 02:00 UTC. All remaining spot pairs close one hour later, outstanding orders are canceled, and related trading bots stop operating.
Deposits of either token will no longer be credited after 03:00 UTC on October 29. Withdrawals remain available until 03:00 UTC on December 28. After that date, Binance may convert any leftover balances into stablecoins on behalf of users, though the exchange stated that such conversion is not guaranteed and would be confirmed in a separate notice if pursued. Remaining balances may otherwise continue to support withdrawals subject to network conditions.
Binance said the delisting followed its periodic assessment of listed assets. Factors considered include trading volume and liquidity, project development activity, network security, communication with token holders, regulatory compliance, changes in token supply or leadership, and overall project commitment. The announcement did not cite a single specific violation or unique reason for removing either token.
Both assets had carried Binance’s Monitoring Tag for several months. QUICK received the designation on April 30 and EPIC on May 22. The tag signals closer scrutiny due to elevated risk characteristics and indicates that continued failure to meet listing standards can lead to removal, though it does not guarantee delisting.
QuickSwap operates as a decentralized exchange on the Polygon network. Its QUICK token functions as a governance and utility asset used for staking and liquidity incentives. Epic Chain, previously known as Ethernity Chain under the ERN ticker, began as a platform focused on celebrity-licensed NFTs. It later shifted toward entertainment and real-world asset tokenization. Binance had supported a 1:1 token swap from ERN to EPIC when the project rebranded, with EPIC/USDT trading opening on the exchange in March 2025.
Neither project team issued immediate statements in the announcement about alternative trading venues, token migrations, or specific support measures for holders affected by the Binance removal. Users holding positions across futures, margin, loans, copy trading, or earn products were advised to close or adjust them ahead of the scheduled cutoffs to avoid automatic settlement or forced sales.
The delisting schedule applies only to Binance services. Trading of both tokens may continue on other platforms after October 28, though liquidity and volume on the largest exchange will no longer be available.
