Moscow-based fintech expands service allowing users to settle invoices in USDT while recipients receive traditional bank transfers in major currencies
A7, a financial technology company established in 2024 with involvement from Bank PSB, has introduced A7 International, a remote platform aimed at facilitating international settlements for businesses and individuals outside Russia. The service lets clients pay invoices using digital assets while counterparties receive funds as conventional bank transfers.
The company reported that in its first two years it has grown into a significant participant in cross-border settlements. It currently works with approximately 15,000 companies and processed more than 10 trillion Russian rubles, equivalent to roughly $119 billion, in 2025. Domestic demand for its offerings led foreign entrepreneurs to request access, prompting the development of this export-oriented product.
Clients transfer USDT on the TRON network. A7 then executes a bank transfer via SWIFT using the details provided on the invoice. Recipients do not need to hold cryptocurrency or open a digital wallet; funds arrive directly in their bank accounts. At launch, outgoing bank transfers are available in US dollars, euros, Chinese yuan and UAE dirhams, with additional currencies possible by prior arrangement.
The fee stands at 0.3 percent for both corporate and individual users. After an invoice is uploaded, the platform displays the total cost, including commission, before the transaction proceeds. Settlement typically occurs within one business day. Upon completion, clients receive a SWIFT confirmation or equivalent documentation, along with closing papers required for currency and customs procedures.
Access is restricted to jurisdictions where cryptocurrency circulation is permitted under local rules. Users register on the a7.biz website, complete identity verification for individuals or corporate verification for companies, and upload the invoice together with supporting documents. An automated system recognizes invoice data to assist with form completion.
The platform employs artificial intelligence to evaluate each transaction. The system examines the sender, beneficiary, jurisdictions involved and relevant risk factors, then constructs a risk profile. It matches compliance requirements against available payment infrastructure and proposes the most suitable route based on cost, speed, reliability and any applicable limits. Routing adjusts dynamically as conditions or channel availability change. Accumulated operational data is used to refine decision quality over time.
A7 positions itself as a global provider of international payment and settlement solutions for trade. It is building independent payment infrastructure spanning more than 100 countries and offers products that include international payments, digital financial assets and promissory notes. The group processes around 2,000 transactions daily. In 2025 it handled approximately 19 percent of cross-border trade settlements conducted by Russian companies. In October 2025 the firm received an AA(RU) credit rating with a stable outlook from ACRA.
The official presentation of A7 International occurred on October 13, 2026, at 13:13.
