Uniswap recorded a sharp increase in daily active traders reaching approximately 220,000 following integration with Robinhood Chain, with cumulative trading volume approaching $1 billion in under two weeks
Uniswap experienced significant growth in user participation after its deployment on Robinhood Chain. On-chain data shows daily active traders jumped more than tenfold from prior levels to around 220,000. This activity coincided with cumulative trading volume on the chain nearing the $1 billion mark within days of launch.
Robinhood Chain, which went live on July 1, positioned Uniswap as the primary automated market maker from the start. Versions 2, 3, 4, and UniswapX were all made available immediately. The development connected Robinhood's retail user base directly to Uniswap's liquidity pools, contributing to accelerated on-chain trading.
Uniswap founder Hayden Adams noted that the protocol generated roughly $5.2 million in daily fees. Data from DefiLlama confirmed $5.16 million over a 24-hour period, with the majority originating from Robinhood Chain at about $4.38 million. In comparison, Ethereum contributed around $296,000 and Base approximately $288,000.
Across all chains, Uniswap handled $2.112 billion in 24-hour DEX volume, exceeding the next largest competitor by more than five times. Weekly fees totaled $20.1 million, with Robinhood Chain accounting for $10.98 million.
A snapshot vote is underway to extend Uniswap's UNIfication fee-burn program to v4 pools. The proposal, running from July 7 to July 12, has received strong initial support with over 93% approval. If passed, it would activate fees across specific v4 pool families on multiple networks including Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Polygon.
The UNIfication program, approved in December 2025, requires fee claimants to burn an equivalent value of UNI tokens. This mechanism permanently removes tokens from circulation. Recent data indicates Uniswap burned 186,000 UNI in a single day last month, setting a new record.
UNI traded near $3.62 during this period, showing gains from recent lows. The integration demonstrates how established platforms can facilitate access to decentralized trading tools for retail users. Robinhood Chain, built on Arbitrum technology, supports fast, low-cost transactions and DeFi applications within its ecosystem.
The partnership highlights ongoing shifts between centralized and decentralized trading venues. Developers and projects on Robinhood Chain gain opportunities for expanded services, while the setup maintains user control over assets through on-chain mechanisms.
| Metric | Previous Week | Current Period |
|---|---|---|
| Active Traders | ~22,000 | ~220,000 |
| Cumulative Volume | ~$100 million | ~$1 billion |
This development adds to Uniswap's presence across 47 chains and reinforces its position in decentralized exchange activity.
